We have to, we have allies for a reason. If they need us now so we must help them. Especially as we may need a lend of a French aircraft carrier when there is something we care about. That's how it works, that's why we'll do our bit and we must not listen to the scared majority who are put off by a few islamists that trained in a fucking cave. Fuck them!
Plus we are better at this stuff than the French and Yanks aren't we? Or are we these days?

Yes.
They are indiscriminate, they don't care if innocents get killed or maimed in the execution of their cause. Neither should we.
This isn't about 'an eye for an eye', this is about what they understand.
If they bomb us, we bomb them twice as hard. Their families, their innocents, will die if they continue to wage their war in a location that has no direct effect on their cause.
Every time they commit an act of murder on shores that are foreign to their ideology we should carpet bomb their strongholds.
'Two eyes for an eye, two teeth for a tooth, two limbs for a limb' if you like.
This is what they understand. This is what they respond to. Sadam and Gadafi knew this, it worked for them and it kept these factions in check.
This escalation in their brand of violence has only happened since they were liberated from the ties that bound them.
We need to put the shackles back on them in the only way they understand, and that is through disproportionate violence directed at them. They cannot be reasoned with, they cannot be persuaded, they cannot be idly threatened.
Abhorrent as it is to a civilised society, they must suffer or nothing will change.

We shouldn't just bomb, sure it will kill a few jihadis but will inevitably kill more civlians (as if the poor bastards don't have it hard enough being governed by a bunch of salifist psychopaths). It certainly will destroy IS.
It will only work if done with alongside troops from the area (like the yanks are doing with the Kurds). I western troops go in it will be seen as more crusader occupations and leave a power vacuum and then, a decade on from now we will back here again except with a different bunch of jihadi loons.
